What would be a good sauce for Rapini/Sausage Ravioli?

I often just use melted er as a sauce for ravioli and a sprinkling of Parmesan. You can add garlic to the er or not. I find it's delicious and lets the flavor of the ravioli filling come through, but adds a nice richness to it.
