How much does a flat iron damage the hair?

You have chosen a good iron to start off with. A flat iron only damages if you don't use it properly. A good flat iron spary is by CHI it works great or Fabricate by REDKEN. It is fairly inexpensive but how much is your hair worth to you? Right? And when you use it make sure your hair is completely dry. Section about 1/2 to 1 inch sections that way you get it all and you don;t have 'lumps' in it. If it has ceramic plates make sure you turn it off immediatly after use. IF not you'll burn it up and it won't last or work like it is supposed to. Hope this helps good luck
