PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

there's this guy, lets say Nick. he's really shy and unsocial. idk if he likes me. he has this ohio curiosity book that he finished a month ago, but he still brings it because he knows that ill take it to slack off. also at these science olympiad meets(for lik 5 Saturdays, all day) whenever we both had some free time, we'd walk off alone and talk and eat. he also sits near me on the ride to and from with my bff adriane and a kid called Khaled. we also talk after school every day for like 15 minutes. he also says that i should of taken german this year(he's in that cl and knows that if i did, id have his exact schedule) but the thing is, he likes all the popular girls i cant compete with, and he's shy and nice to everyone, even the super annoying kids...so he just might be being nice...one day, his sister brought up the popular girl that he liked and he denied it, but idk...it seems that he likes me but im a bit unsure, any advice on how i can make sure and/or what you think.
