Twitches in my stomach?

Its possible that I could be pregnant my last period was the end of Dec and i just had a very small amount of spotting the first week of March but for the past few days I have been experiencing twitching and t on the lower side of my belly on. Anyone experienced anything like this? it feels like a muscle spasm but also kinda feels like a baby kicking. I have a dr appt im just wondering if anyone else has felt this same twitchy feeling. Thanks
