How can i create illustrated alphabets?

i have this design project and i have a theme of human emotions. I have to create illustrated alphabets which show this emotions. Eg A for Anger, B for Betrayal.... how do i show it??? m not a gud artist but i can try to use the illustration sware...any tutorial which can show me how to do this, or any website that can help me out alot????
