Where can I find a bus that can take me from Sherman Oaks CA to Santa Monica CA?

I live about a block down from the Sherman Oaks Galleria and I'm practically next door to the CCC. (California Chicken Cafe) Anyone know witch bus to take to get to the Santa Monica Pier? Or at least any where close to there?
