I had UTIs for 2 years with no help and finally they are gone. Do AZO Cranberry tablets really help to prevent

Do the cranberry tablets really help to prevent them (UTIs and kidney infections) from coming back? I bought 100 of them and I am going to take 6 a day (2 with each meal). Also, do you know of any other things that could help prevent me from getting them again? I already wipe front to back, urinate before and after , cut down to only like 1 mountain dew a week (that hurt me bad... I was addicted to mountain dew), and drink nothing but Crystal Light and flavored water now (doctor said that was fine). Anything would help. Thank you!
